Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
The Toronto Blue Jays' back-to-back World Series championships in 1992 and 1993 are commemorated in this lot of two team signed bats – a Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick signed by approximately 25 Jays, and a 1993 Cooper signed by approximately 24 Jays. The Adirondack Big Stick bat includes Gaston, Alomar (HOF), Winfield (HOF), Carter, Stieb, Morris, Cone, Olerud, and others, while the Cooper Pro 100 includes '93 champs Gaston, Alomar (HOF), Molitor (HOF), Carter, Stottlemyre, Cox, Williams, Borders, Morris, Griffin, and many more.
Maldonado, Tabler, Bailor, Borders, Gruber, Griffin, Eichhorn, Sprague, White, Timlin, Guzman, Stottlemyre, Key, Hisle, Wells, Henke, Bell, Tenace, and others are also on the 1992 Adirondack bat. All signatures on this beauty have been signed with blue marker, with some smudging on some, including Jack Morris and David Cone, but all in all, the signatures are very nice and very legible. The 1993 Cooper bat also has Coles, Leiter, Guzman, Timlin, Hentgen, White, Eichhorn, Sprague, Duane Ward, Olerud, and others, with all signatures signed using dark blue marker and are clear and bold. The bats themselves are clean, damage-free, and show no evidence of use.
