Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

Incomparable Brett Hull played three seasons with Detroit in the early-2000s, and he didn’t stop his scoring prowess there as the brilliant sniper would wind things down with solid 30, 37, and 25-goal campaigns in Motor City. We have one of Brett’s sticks from his days in Detroit, with his original black tape on the blade and red on the handle, and one can only imagine how many pucks flew off the blade of this gamer. Marks show mostly on the taped areas, on the shaft is printed “Hull 17”, while further down near the blade is a handwritten J.J.C. (his kids’ initials) plus “Col” for Colorado, the team Hull played against when using this stick. Also to note is a stamped-on “Bre2 170” near the top of the blade. What a chance to own a game-used stick from this HOFer (inducted 2009) who ended up with a whopping 741 goals and 650 assists in 1269 regular-season games.
