Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

Great Jean Ratelle vintage period mesh pro jersey, produced by Stall & Dean for the public in the late-90s when the HOFer (ind. 1985) was winding down his brilliant career (1267 points in 1281 games), which began with the Rangers and ended with the Bruins. Tagged in the collar with a Stall & Dean patch flanked by size “48” and washing instructions, this mesh jersey has "Ratelle" double-layer tackle twill lettering sewn onto a tackle twill nameplate, double-layer tackle twill number 10's on sleeves and back, a triple-layer tackle twill team Bruins crest, embroidered Bruins crests on the shoulders, and a double garter-style fight strap. The jersey has some pilling on the lower front and back and the collar area, plus some marks/scratches on the Bruins team crest and back numbers, but any signs of wear are not from Ratelle as this is a vintage period garment and not game-worn. Definitely a quality jersey, ready for display or to wear.
