Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

Forward Benoit Hogue would suit up a number of teams over the years, 8 in fact, and it was during his lone season with the Tampa Bay Lightning, the 1998-99 campaign, that he would don this cool Lightning alternate jersey with the "1999 Tampa Bay All-Star Game" patch sewn on the right breast, and with the yellow and white lightning bolt design on the sleeves often seen in that era. Tagged in the collar as a “CCM” with a nearby size “54” flap, this gamer shows a touch of puckering on the team crest, has a small scattering game-marks on the front, back, and on both sleeves, and has distinct evidence of a number change on the back. Excellent gamer from a fellow who broke into the bigs in 1988 and retired during the 2001-02 campaign after wearing the uniforms of the Sabres. Islanders, Leafs, Stars, Lightning, Coyotes, Bruins, and Caps.
