Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Longtime NHL defenseman Roman Hamrlik has twice signed his pro-style Canadiens #44 jersey and autographed each of a pair of his game-used gloves, helmet and Reebok stick. Roman, who was drafted first overall by Tampa Bay in 1992, has signed in silver paint pen on the CH crest and on his number on the back of a size 56 jersey, as well as on his Reebok gloves and the taped blade of his stick. The Reebok game-used stick with “Hamrlik” graphic on the back of the shaft retains Roman’s distinctive tape job on the knob as well as on the blade, which has worn through along the bottom edge from game use. There's a slight smudge on the "44" of the signature to note; Roman has signed in black marker on the front of his Reebok game-worn helmet with Canadiens decals on both sides and “44” and NHL decals on the back; Roman has signed the thumb protector of each of his two Reebok red, white and blue game-worn gloves with “Canadiens #44” on both cuffs and nice game wear on their hole-free palms.
