Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

There haven’t been many who knew how to find the back of the net the way Mike Bossy could, and if you’re hoping for some Bossy magic to rub off, here’s one of his game-used sticks from the late-1970s that just might do the trick. After all, in that era, from 1977 to 1980, the HOFer (ind. 1991) notched 53, 69, and 51 goals, which was just the beginning of a goal onslaught that saw him end with 573 markers in all, placing him 20th on the list of all time twine bulgers. This game-used Titan Pro has Bossy’s original black tape on the blade and handle, and along with marks that make their way up the shaft is “M. Bossy” stamped below the knob along with “22” handwritten in black marker. A great gamer from one of the sharpest of all sharpshooters.
