Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
A couple of nice game-used sticks from two early-‘90s Calgary Flames stars Theoren Fleury and Al MacInnis. Fleury’s gamer, a Louisville TPS, features his original white tape on the blade and shaved handle, and along with marks that line the stick is a stamped-on “Fleury” just below the knob. Blue marks are also noticeable on the white-taped knob. Al MacInnis’ gamer is a Sher-Wood PMP 7000, with the great d-man’s original white tape on both blade and knob and a stamped code number and “Calgary” on the lower shaft. Approximately 20 Flames have signed Al’s stick with black marker, and include MacInnis, Fleury, Otto, Reese, Ranheim, Suter and more. Some of the signatures have slight smudging, and some are difficult to decipher, but hey, it’ll give you something to do on a rainy day!
