Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Straight from the U.S. hockey team's Miracle on Ice at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid in 1980, American defenseman Ken Morrow joined the New York Islanders and made key contributions to the dynasty that won four Stanley Cups in a row and won a record 19 consecutive playoff series. Morrow's mid-1980s Islanders game-worn jersey saw duty between 1985-87, as evidenced by the Syosset Sports and CCM logos on the rear hem. A partial Maska Ultrafil tag remains in the neck and there is evidence of a nameplate change, which is common for mid-1980s Islanders game-worn jerseys. Game wear includes faint black marks on the front tail, a mark on the left breast, and board burns on the sleeves. Comes with an LOA.
