Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Goalie fight! Maple Leafs netminder Jonathan Bernier's 2013-14 gamer is the one he was wearing when he went at it with Buffalo's Ryan Miller during a preseason game on September 22, 2013. This game-worn jersey was purchased from the Maple Leafs and a price tag that was removed indicated that it was a Set 1 game-worn jersey worn from preseason through to December, so this is the first Toronto regular season jersey worn by Bernier, who was acquired prior to the season in a trade with the LA Kings, and the one he was wearing when he fought Miller. Goalie Style and size 58 flag tags sit in the back of the collar and game wear includes black marks on the white bands on the sleeves. The Maple Leafs 2013-14 Season Game-Worn Jersey patch is sewn inside the rear tail with a registry number that corresponds to the one on the accompanying Maple Leafs COA.
