In 2002, Allstate Insurance reunited Jim Craig and Mike Eruzione, the former Team USA captain and scorer of the game-winning goal against the Soviets to conduct four company-sponsored youth clinics at New York's Madison Square Garden, Philadelphia, Chicago and Washington, D.C. Taking the sponsorship a step further, Allstate organized a "Miracle on Ice" reunion game, held on Feb. 1, 2002, in Los Angeles. The game, which took place during the NHL's All Star Weekend festivities, pitted the oldtimers of the National Hockey League against the former players of the 1980 US Olympic Hockey Team in what was the first ever reunion of that victorious Miracle on Ice squad. This wonderful goalie mask, produced for and worn during the events by Team USA netminder Jim Craig, is professionally decorated in sparkling white, blue and red paint in a tribute to that Olympic squad of 1980. With the Olympic rings at each temple, the Allstate logo on the sides and their "good hands" design at the chin, the mask is a showpiece and a wearable advertisement. Stars decorate the backplate, which also displays the painted "CRAIG" at the bottom. All padding and strapping is intact and the mask shows very little signs of wear. DO you believe in miracles?
