Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Former Montreal Canadiens forward Martin Rucinsky had this Team Czech Republic game-issued jersey ready for his use at the 1996 World Cup of Hockey. Rucinsky, who was acquired by Montreal as part of the blockbuster trade that saw Patrick Roy dealt to Colorado, played all three of the Czechs' round robin games. His #25 jersey with size 56 tagging is from a set of the team's red jerseys that did not see active duty. This classic international hockey jersey has Bauer Pro Wear and size flag tags sewn in the neck and a Nike inventory barcode heat-screened into the inner rear tail. The Bauer logo patch is sewn on the right breast and the 1996 World Cup of Hockey patch sits on the left shoulder. Sublimated graphics include the Czech Republic national crest on the front and national flag graphics on the front and rear tails. The numbers on the sleeves and back, and surname letters on a nameplate stitched on the back are all sewn on in tackle twill.
