Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Cool early-1970s international hockey game-worn jersey is this Team Norway affair with the Norwegian Ice Hockey Association patch sewn on the left breast that has been a bit game-battered with a team repair just above it on the upper right. Stretchy knit gamer with a lace-up collar has a Ramah flag tag in the back of the neck. Norway wore this style from 1970-72 and the team is wearing this type of jersey in a photo from the 1970 B Pool world championships. The "A" that is handwritten in blue below the patch is not original to this game-worn jersey, which has another team repair on the front of the upper right sleeve, and various red marks and stains. There are red marks on the right upper front, back of the right sleeve, front of the upper left sleeve and dark stains through the upper portion of the numbers on the back.
