Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Classic 1953 Topps cards here are admittedly mighty rough but will provide an inexpensive vintage baseball card experience. A few commons make it VG but the rest are lower. Eddie Mathews (F-G) and Pee Wee Reese cards (F)(small glue stain on the reverse) are among a handful of big names present and fun to hold and behold, while cards of Feller (ripped and taped back together) and Campanella (ripped and glued back together) join two dozen other real low grade fillers which have paper loss on either the front or back. Some 40 cards thus are in the G neighborhood due to creases and/or corner/edge wear, scuffs, etc. The gorgeous artwork and problem-free backs are still cool to check out with no duplicates and cards numbered up to 218.
