Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

Seriously cool is this rare 1936-37 O-Pee-Chee "Series D" wrapper that held black and white die-cut cards fashioned to produce a "stand-up" effect. This great wrapper has a few light creases/fold lines and very minor staining/surface wear, displaying beautifully overall. And as mentioned on the wrapper, kids in '36-37 could get a "swell new hockey game for only 5 wraps and 5 cents". The hockey game was a spin-style board game that featured the Leafs, Habs, and Maroons. Just a grand and extremely desirable wrapper offered here, preserved in outstanding condition.
