Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
A definite hobby event is the opportunity to capture an All-Time Finest PSA pre-war hockey card set, with this individual card an event in itself! Here it is folks, the highest graded Maple Crispette card in the history of PSA, a peerless NM-MT 8 example depicting Ken Randall of the Hamilton Tigers. Out of 445 Maple Crispette cards submitted for inspection to PSA since the company started up, this is the one and only to be awarded a mark of NM-MT 8! Only half a dozen NM 7s show up on the PSA Population Report. Meanwhile, the Randall on-ice story is also interesting, with the d-man reportedly using his stick in a remarkably vicious manner, battling with the likes of Sprague Cleghorn, Buck Boucher and the baddest man of all, Joe Hall. There might be some vicious bidding over this Ken – come prepared to battle!
