Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
There was only one Boomer that’s for sure. Bernie “Boom Boom” Geoffrion, a right winger extraordinaire with a booming shot, a 50-goal scorer, point man on the power play during the Habs’ late-1950s dynasty, a singer and jokester, and ultimately a Hall of Famer who was inducted in 1972. We have 20 identical colored 8” x 10” photos of Boomer in the 1950s, smiling for camera as he poses in full uniform with his CCM Professional stick, with 8 of them signed in clear and bold black marker and 12 in clear blue marker (1 has a slight smudge to the “G”). All 20 are in great shape, a few have tiny corner dents, and all have the Hockey Hall of Fame logo in the upper left corner. A true legend of the game, the great Bernard Geoffrion would pass away on March 11, 2006.
