This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Nice collection of NHL souvenir pucks here, with a total of 15 InGlasCo, 22 Viceroy, 28 Slovakian-made, 16 Czech-made, 15 from General Tire, 2 Rawlings, 5 miscellaneous including Mario Lemieux and Guy Carbonneau picture pucks, and a Canadian-made Rangers puck with no brand name. We see 2 Rawlings 1970s pucks, 1 with the original Canucks logo (some edge chipping), and the other a Penguins logo. There are 13 General Tire 1980s pucks with large screened-on logos and blank backs, and 2 with NHL logos on the backs. From Viceroy, 15 are 1980s blank-back pucks, and from the 1990s are 7 Viceroys including a Don Cherry puck and Leafs player pucks. The Slovakian pucks range from the 1990s to 2000 and have large screened-on logos with NHL logs on the reverse. The InGlasCo pucks with various logo designs are mainly 1990s examples, and the Czech-made ones are from various years in the 1990s. And from the miscellaneous, along with the 2 picture pucks is a Carolina “Thank You Military”, a yellow Bruins “bear head” with blank back, and a white Detroit Red Wings puck with a small Wings logo on one side and a logo and “Established 1926” on the other. Most pucks are in great condition, very few show chipping, and the odd one has scratching on the logo. All in all, a great puck collection.
