Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Howie Morenz was in just his third season in the big leagues when he and his Habs showed up in Ottawa on the night of December 4th, 1926 to clash with Clancy, Denneny, Finnigan and the rest of the Ottawa Senators, a team that the following spring would hoist the Stanley Cup. We've got a program from that Habs-Sens clash at the old Aud, a cool and complete little 8-pager measuring 6" x 9", with all pages intact and no handwriting anywhere to be found. In fact, aside from a touch of wear on the edges, this program has been remarkably preserved and as cool as can be, although HOFer Frank Nighbor's name is misspelled as "Neighbor".
