Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

Preserved in wonderful condition is this 1965 Stanley Cup Finals program from game 5 at the Montreal Forum, a game that saw the Habs blank the Chicago Black Hawks 6-0, which was, astoundingly, the second of three shutouts recorded in the series by the duo of Gump Worsley and Charlie Hodge. The Hawks would take the next game, game 6, but the Habs prevailed in game 7 to win it all and see Jean Beliveau awarded the very first Conn Smythe Trophy. This 48-page program shows no marks or tears, and aside from some very faint and small creases, is almost in brand new condition. Just a great memento from the Habs first of four Cups in five years in the latter part of the 1960s.
