Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

Mighty fine Detroit Olympia program from the big Leafs-Red Wings Stanley Cup Finals in 1964, a year that saw the Leafs win their 3rd consecutive Stanley Cup. This program, measuring 8 ½” x 11”, is a fully-intact 28-pager from game 4 on April 18th, ’64, won by the Leafs 4-2, which evened the series at that point, and which ultimately helped lead Toronto to win it all in 7 games. No marks or tears are found on this great program, with the only issues being a faint crease running top to bottom and some slight dirt on the cover. Just a fine-looking program indeed, from a historic series and one that saw Leafs rearguard Bobby Baun score the winner in overtime of game 6 while suffering from a broken ankle.
