Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
We love vintage hockey programs, and often many of the best come from Maple Leaf Gardens, chock full of stories, poems, pictures and all sorts of goodies. And not only is this 1949 Stanley Cup Finals issue between Toronto and Detroit a historic Leafs Cup-clinching game program from game 4 on April 16th, 1949 when the Buds sealed it with a 3-1 win, but the cover is filled with Leafs autographs including Turk Broda, Teeder Kennedy, Vic Lynn, Jim Thomson, Bill Juzda, and Joe Klukay, who all signed in clear pencil except for Lynn, who signed in blue ink. Just a great vintage Gardens Cup Finals program, measuring 6 ½” x 10”, complete with all 80 pages fully intact. On the back cover are various players’ names handwritten in ink, and a crease runs from top to bottom, otherwise, all’s good about this historic piece.
