Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

April 9th, 1935 was a night of celebration for the Montreal Maroons, as the gang, led by goaltender Alex Connell who allowed just four goals in three games, hoisted the team's second (and final) Stanley Cup by sweeping the Toronto Maple Leafs. We've got the Forum program from that historic night, the complete 40-pager, with no marks anywhere to be found, and only some slight creasing on the cover to note, the inside starting line-up page loose from its staples, and some general aging. All in all, a terrific and important program, with the Leafs boasting talent such as Hainsworth, Horner, Day, Clancy, and C. Conacher up against the likes of Maroons' stars Connell, Wentworth, L. Conacher, Ward, Smith, and Trottier.
