Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
This splendid Toronto Maple Leafs jacket is a charcoal distressed leather beauty made by Mitchell and Ness and honouring the 1939-40 Leafs, a team that after finishing third in the standings, went to the Stanley Cup Finals that year. Gorgeous black lining with the "Mitchell and Ness" logo is screened throughout, with the collar showing the Mitchell and Ness NHL Vintage tagging and size 56 tags in the back of the neck. The wool cuffs, hem, and collar remain clean and issue-free, the magnificent felt and embroidered crest adorns the left breast, and this made to look aged, heavy and tasteful outerwear classic is ready to be worn and shown with pride.
