Ranger fans especially will love this quaint Blueshirts pack that includes a vintage photo of a couple of pensive Cook brothers talking shop by the boards in 1932, plus a 1945-46 Rangers team photo from the wire services, and 3 examples of the 1940 sheet music “The Rangers Victory Song”. HOFer Bill and Bun Cook (inducted 1952 and 1995 respectively), seem all business in this 6” x 8” b&w vintage glossy with the wire service writings on both the front and back, and is preserved in good condition aside from some creasing and normal handling. A clipped newspaper caption is attached at the back with the heading “Cooking Up Something?" The 7” x 9” b&w Rangers team picture, with manager Lester Patrick smiling from the back row, has the attached wire service players list on the back, with a stamped “Nov 9 – 1945, and remains in good condition with some creasing to note. And finally, Ranger fans can now belt out the “Rangers Victory Song” from this 9” x 12” sheet music pack of three with Lester Patrick and on-ice action on the front cover. All three copies show handling – one has a small tear in the fold, and another has some rough edges, but all in all, these are ready to be propped at the piano and sung - “Listen to the cheering of the people in the stands; Twenty thousand hockey bugs and each a Ranger Fan!” and so on.
