It was the Leafs beating the Habs in game 5 of the 1950-51 Stanley Cup Finals when Bill Barilko scored an overtime goal forever to become part of hockey lore, and from that Cup-winning Leafs squad comes this sheet of Maple Leafs Gardens paper (8 ¼” x 11”) signed by 17. Yellowed, with tape around the edges and with a faded Gardens letterhead, the signatures, aside from owner Conn Smythe’s, which is very pale, are in ink except for one signed in pencil, and include HOFers Turk Broda (ind. 1967, dec. 1972), Max Bentley (ind. 1966, dec. 1984), Ted Kennedy (ind. 1966, dec. 2009), Harry Watson (ind. 1994, dec. 2002), coach Joe Primeau (ind. 1963, dec. 1989), and the aforementioned Conn Smythe (ind. 1958, dec. 1980). Also signing this sheet are Tod Sloan, Sid Smith, Cal Gardner (in pencil), Jim Thomson, Danny Lewicki, Joe Klukay, Fleming Mackell, Howie Meeker, John McCormack, Ray Timgren, and Bill Juzda.
