Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Simply fantastic is this trio of pucks up for grabs, beginning with two obtained by our consignor at the same game in the early-'60s at Maple Leaf Gardens. We start with a rare Toronto Maple Leafs "Shoot" puck used in a contest at the Gardens and labelled around it as "Still Time to "Shoot" For $1000 in M.H.S.". And at the game, the lucky contestant also managed to score an original 1962-64 Art Ross game puck, preserved in superb condition with minor yet obvious wear, showing the Leafs logo on one side and "Official Art Ross National League Puck" on the other. Lastly is a Leafs 1969-73 "Converse" game puck, also in sensational condition, also with faint yet obvious wear, with the Leafs logo and "Official Art Ross National League Puck Converse" .
