The New York Rangers Alumni honored Hall of Fame defenseman Harry Howell in 2002 when they presented him with the Murray Murdoch Alumni Man of the Year Award. Offered from Harry's personal collection is the award itself along with mementoes from that special evening, including Howell's signed big Rangers banner, attributed to that evening, that Howell has signed. Also featured are items from Howell's 2010 induction into the Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame in 2010 including a multi-signed jersey autographed on the front by Pat Quinn and on the back by Howell, Leo Reise and Bill Friday, among others. Impressive lot of a dozen items comes with Harry Howell's signed LOA. Howell’s “2002 Murray Murdoch Alumni Man of the Year Award” is a polished glass affair that stands 9” tall. “Harry Howell” is etched on the 8” square main portion of the trophy with the Rangers and Rangers alumni shield logos and “1952-1969” between them representing Harry’s years with the Broadway Blueshirts. The base is 3 1/2" x 10” with “New York Rangers Alumni Association” etched across the front.

Howell has signed in blue marker one side of the Rangers “Howell” banner which measures a substantial 70” x 48”.
Harry has signed in bold blue marker on each of two copies of the NHL Alumni News magazine with himself pictured on the cover.
Howell’s multi-signed “H” jersey is signed on the front by Quinn and two others, and on the back by 14, including Howell, Reise and Friday, among others. Tie-neck affair with Howell’s nameplate and number 3 has SP tagging and a size XL flag tag in the neck, captain’s C on the left breast, Montreal Canadiens CH logo patch on the left shoulder and Hamilton Bulldogs crest on the right shoulder. A photo of Howell wearing the “H” jersey is included.
“Hometown Heroes” pen comes in a wood case with the Hamilton Bulldogs logo and “H” on the cover with “Hamilton Hometown Heroes, Copps Coliseum, Hamilton, Ontario, March 26, 2004” in between.
Dog Day in Hamilton: A Day in the Life of the Hamilton Bulldogs book which has 18 bold black marker signatures inside the front cover, including Andrei Kostitsyn and coach Doug Jarvis.
Howell has signed in bold black marker on the cover of a Hamilton Sports Celebrity Night Spectator Athlete-of-the-Year Awards program honoring himself.
