Three multi-signed hockey sticks, two of which include Bobby Hull's autograph, are featured in this lot of 11 multi-sports signed items from HOFer Harry Howell's collection. All three sticks are covered with autographs, with the likes of Howell and fellow HOFers Bower, Bathgate, Park, Pilote, Kelly, Mikita, Ullman, Gadsby, Shutt, Bucyk, Gilbert, Potvin, Cheevers, McDonald, Cournoyer and Serge Savard, included among other NHL stars. A Bobby Orr signed golf ball, Mike Weir signed framed display and a photo signed by 20 members of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame are also featured. Gordie Howe has signed two items, including a book that is also signed by his sons, Marty and HOFer Mark and Howell has signed his Hall of Fame Legends jersey. Comes with Harry Howell's signed LOA. Black NHL Alumni stick has 35 autographs all along the shaft and blade. There are 25 fine gold paint pen signatures from the top of the stick to the tape band at the bottom of the shaft including the likes of Rod Gilbert, Napier, Howell, Ellis, Mikita, Bower, Hickey, Lanny McDonald and Jim Neilson, with three lightly smudged autographs at the top, including Palmateer. Ullman has signed on a Bell sticker on the toe of the blade, one of 10 black marker signatures on the blade and bottom of the shaft including Bathgate, Pilote, Park, Shutt, Vickers and Paul Henderson.
White NHL Alumni stick has 34 bold black marker signatures from the top of the shaft to the toe of the blade, including the likes of Binkley, Bathgate, Napier, Howell, Reid, Ullman, Shack and Prentice, among others.
The Original Six Charity Cup hockey stick has 18 bold blue and black marker autographs, including Bobby Hull, who has signed in blue marker towards the toe, Bower, Dennis Hull, Kelly, Gadsby, Shutt, Bucyk, Cheevers, Baun, Park, Potvin, Cournoyer, Howell, Serge Savard, Peter Mahovlich and Ron Ellis, among others;
Bobby Orr has signed in bold black marker above the Bell logo on a Titleist 1 golf ball;
Gordie Howe has signed in bold silver paint pen across the top of his number 9 on the front of his softcover book, “Nine: A Salute to Mr. Hockey Gordie Howe”. Howe has also written the notations “Mr. Hockey” (across the middle) and “HOF 1972” (along the bottom), along with the notation “To Marilyn & Harry, Warmest wishes” in a brighter tone of silver paint pen vertically along the right side of the red number 9 on the cover. Gordie’s sons and teammates Mark Howe, a fellow HOFer, and Marty Howe have signed in black marker on the bottom of the cover.
Gordie Howe has signed in bold blue marker “To Harry, In friendship, Gordie Howe” on a Rayovac photo card with his career bio;
Frank Mahovlich has signed in blue ballpoint on a Rayovac photo card with his career bio;
Tony Gabriel, Peter Dalla Riva, Allen Pitts, Angelo Mosca and Matt Dunigan are among the 20 HOF bold blue marker autographs on a multi-signed 11x14 photo of the exterior of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame. Bob Ackles, Paul Bennett, Less Browne, Mike Campbell, Grover Covington, Rocky DiPietro, Herm Harrison, Bobby Jurasin, Ellison Kelly, Ralph Sazio, Victor Spencer, Don Sutherin, Bill Symons, Chris Walby and Ben Zambiasi are the other HOFers who have signed.
2003 Masters champion Mike Weir has signed his 8x10 photo in a framed display that includes a recessed Titleist golf ball and a plaque commemorating Weir’s historic win “Compliments of Bell Celebrity Golf Classic, August 18, 2003”, all displayed in a 17 1/2” x 22” frame.
Howell has signed with the notation “H.H.O.F. 1979” in bold blue marker to the left of his number 3 on the back of his tie-neck Hockey Hall of Fame Legends Classic jersey with size L flag tag in the back of the neck.
Corey Locke has signed in bold blue marker on a “Locke looks to light the lamp” illustration of himself in action in his Hamilton Bulldogs uniform.
2003 NHL Alumni Celebrity Golf Classic program with Andy Bathgate Man of the Year cover is also included along with two Pinnacle golf balls.
