HOFer Lanny McDonald had his third straight 30-goal campaign with the Calgary Flames when he wore this red road gamer during the 1983-84 season. The Calgary 100th anniversary patch worn by the Flames the season after Lanny scored a team-record 66 goals is sewn on the left shoulder. Splendid CCM/Sandow combo boasts "McDonald" across the nameplate above the number "9" the Flames retired in Lanny's honor after he hung up his skates with 500 goals and a Stanley Cup to his credit. The Sandow flag tag remains in the neck and a large screened CCM logo sits on the tail, marking this one as having been worn back in 1983-84 when the Flames switched from one manufacturer to the other. Fantastic game wear features black marks all over the front tail, four team repairs on the left sleeve, and two more sewing fixes on the right sleeve, which has board burns, red paint transfer, and unrepaired burn holes. The double twill crest and numbers are crinkled from washing. Comes with Lanny McDonald's signed LOA.
