Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
With all that went with the changing of the guard from the NHA to the brand new NHL, the Arenas would play just a handful of games before new ownership created the St. Patrick's, who begat the Maple Leafs. Offered is a gorgeous 1920s Toronto Arenas-style game-worn jersey, an adult size beauty measuring 21" from underarm to underarm and from 32" from top of the collar to bottom of hem. Tagged in the collar "Broadway Knit Mills, 100% virgin wool, Los Angeles", this game-worn jersey has holes scattered throughout the front and shoulders, with a few more on the back which do not diminish the eye appeal of this sweater. This gamer features a beige stripe along the hem and a nice felt "T" crest on the front and number "15" on the back. Stunning relic of days gone by.
