Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
The Detroit Red Wings' 50 Years Norris Family Ownership patch is sewn on the right breast of Mark Lofthouse's 1981-82 Red Wings game-worn jersey. Red mesh gamer with Sandow SK on the right rear hem has evidence of a former nameplate and was most likely worn earlier in the season by Dale McCourt, who was traded to Buffalo on December 2, 1981. There is a piece missing from the fight strap and a black marker "1" is written on the SK size Large flag tag that remains in the back of the neck along with a laundry instruction flag tag. Game wear shows in black marks and blue paint transfer on white knit front tail, with a few more marks on the rear tail which has yellow and blue paint transfer on the right side. There are black marks on the numbers on the left sleeve, a few light marks on the numbers on the right sleeve and the 0 on the back, and board burns and marks on the sleeves.
