Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013

Trevor Kidd certainly must have stood out on the ice when wearing this colorful set of gloves and pads! From Kidd's stint with the Florida Panthers from 1999 to 2002 comes these great red, white, yellow and blue pads, blocker, and catching glove, with the checkerboard pads showing all the game marks you would expect, with scuffing, puck marks, and wear from the ice. The blocker has no tears or damage, but has great puck marks scattered everywhere, while the catching glove is also completely intact, with solid webbing and with the catching area laced with puck marks. Great proof that Kidd was doing what he was supposed to be doing! All three are made by "Brian's", and all three have the name "Trevor Kidd" embroidered on them. A knight's armour, looking for a castle. Following a stellar junior career which saw Kidd garner All-Star honors, WHL and CHL goaltender of the year awards and appearances in three World Juniors, he would ultimately play in 387 regular season NHL games over 12 seasons, with four different teams - Calgary, Carolina, Florida, and Toronto.
