Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
An attractive Lester Patrick rookie card here calls out for inspection/encapsulation, and pictures one of hockey's all-time most important contributors as a member of the Renfrew club, although he had moved on to British Columbia in 1910-11 and soon would, along with brother Frank, build pro hockey in the west. We cannot detect a crease in this example of card #26, with rather light corner and edge wear to consider, along with toning on the back. EX seemingly is a fair grade, with VG-EX+, or at least VG-EX, the lowest possibilities. One of the top rushing defencemen of his day, as well as a team leader, Patrick would like to now contribute to your pre-war portfolio!
