Very special William M. Jennings Trophy represents each of Patrick Roy's record five career wins of the NHL award presented to the goalies whose team had the lowest goals-against-average during the regular season. St. Patrick won the Jennings four times with the Montreal Canadiens, sharing the first three in consecutive seasons with Brian Hayward from 1986-87 through 1988-89 before winning it outright with the Habs in 1991-92. Roy added his fifth Jennings with Colorado in 2001-02 when he led the league with a career best 1.94 GAA. This Jennings Trophy replica was made at Roy's request for display purposes by Boffey. It is similar in every detail to the ones he received back in the day, standing 10 1/2" tall with a special plaque that displays the years and teams with whom he won the trophy. Part of the proceeds of the sale of this item will go towards the "Fond d'etudes des Remparts de Quebec". Comes with Patrick Roy's signed LOA who also signed the bottom of the trophy's base in silver paint pen. [red] Addendum; Also included is an 8" x 10" signed photo of Patrick Roy with seven of his trophies offered in the auction including this one.[/red]
