Safety David Lofton was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2007 for which he attended training camp but didn't make the final cut. Lofton then signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats as a free agent on September 12 and dressed for four games (four starts) of the 2007 CFL season making 17 defensive tackles, 1 special teams tackle, and 1 quarterback sack. He was released following the season. Tagging in the collar indicates that this 2005 size 46 jersey from a previous season was recycled for his use and evidence of a former nameplate as well as having ''26 Ranek'' handwritten in the collar confirms this. The jersey is autographed on the back and exhibit light/medium but noticeable game wear.
