CFL legends Ron Lancaster and George Reed are among the members of the Saskatchewan Roughriders who have signed this team-signed football. Vintage early-1970s Spalding official CFL autograph football is signed by over 35 members of the Roughriders, who represented the West in the 1972 Grey Cup won by Hamilton at Ivor Wynne Stadium. Reed has signed on the left side of the “Made in Canada” white panel which is autographed by 15 members of the Riders. The late, great Lancaster’s autograph appears along the bottom edge of the other white panel. Ron’s signature is legible despite a gouge in the middle of his surname. Additional details on our website. This 40-year-old team-signed football displays various marks and nicks and exhibits the kind of cracking/puckering on its white autograph panels that is not unusual for its vintage. There is a chip of white coating missing in the middle of the panel to note. Its vintage black ink autographs are somewhat faded though they are plain to see. Jack Abendschan, Sandy Archer, Gord Barwell, Bruce Bennett, Clyde Brock, Charlie Collins, Al Ford, Ralph Galloway, Bill Manchuk, Ed McQuarters and Wayne Shaw are other members of the Rougriders’ Plaza of Honor who have signed along with Don Bahniuk, Nolan Bailey, Ken Frith, Steve Molnar, Jim Walter, among others.
