Comprehensive collection of official game pucks, one from each team from the 1967-68 expansion season. The group, mounted to heavy wood plaques with descriptive plates attached, are separated into two groups. The Eastern Division is represented by six "original six" orange rubber octagonal-logo Converse game pucks, one each for Toronto, Chicago, Boston, New York, Detroit and Montreal. These are all in great shape with minor age cracking on a couple of the front logos. The second plaque, measuring an identical 22-inches from top to bottom, holds game pucks from the six Western Division teams including California, LA, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Minnesota and Philadelphia. We believe these to be Converse patent number gamers and all are attached to the plaque with screws that mount through the back. The six colored-logo pucks have some fading and cracking to the logos and could use a good cleaning. Originally obtained from the collection of former NHL linesman Brent Casselman, as mentioned in the included letter of authenticity.
