One of our hobby's most important rookie cards, that of legendary Montreal Canadiens' goaltender Georges Vezina, keys this colorful and coveted group of cards. Technically low grade because of a missing lower right corner, the Vezina RC here includes two creases on the lower section of the card but offers a swell view. Vivid colors are also striking on Cyclone Taylor's crease-free G card, as well as those of Joe Malone (G), Art Ross (F-G) and Newsy Lalonde (P with a tear). We then count (14) apparent crease-free, technically low grade cards because of touches of paper loss at the corners. Included in this group are 1-Moran, 5, 6-Dunderdale, 8, 14, 17-Darragh RC, 22, 24-S. Cleghorn RC, 25-O. Cleghorn RC, 33, 34, 40, 43 and 44. The remainder are in the P, F and P-F range with (9)(#s 3, 13, 16, 21, 23, 29, 38, 41), featuring major flaws including a slightly trimmed 27-Smaill (with stick). Still, all present and awaiting a big-time tobacco card stash!
