This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2012
Flyers legends Bobby Clarke and Bernie Parent, both members of the Hockey Hall of Fame, are featured among the 11 members of Philadelphia’s back-to-back Stanley Cup champion teams of the mid-1970s who have the team crest of this CCM Vintage Hockey jersey in silver paint pen. Among the other Flyers that have signed who took part in both the 1973-74 and 1974-75 Cup wins are Rick MacLeish, Dave Schultz, Ed Van Impe, Joe Watson, Jim Watson, Bob Kelly and Orest Kindrachuk. Acquired from the California Golden Seals after the Flyers’ first Cup win over Boston, Reggie Leach scored 45 goals in 1974-75 as Parent went on to become the first player to win consecutive Conn Smythe trophies in the wake of Philadelphia’s six-game win over Buffalo in the Cup final. Leach has also signed, along with Wayne Stephenson, who backed up Parent in 1974-75. The size XL Flyers retro jersey has an AJ Authentic holofoil affixed to the left breast though there is no LOA included.
