Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2012
Trio of framed 8" x 10" prints issued circa 1967 by Quaker Oats and featuring three noted Canadian Prime Ministers of the mid-Century. Each has a cut signature, in the hand of the politician pictured above, pasted on to make for a perfect display. Included are autographs of John Diefenbaker (along with that of his wife Olive), Louis St. Laurent and Lester B. Pearson. Pearson is remembered each year by the National Hockey League trophy that bears his name, awarded to the NHL's outstanding player as selected by the members of the NHL Player's Association. The sigs are in near-excellent condition overall and the simple wood and glass frames each measure about 9" x 12".
