Hall of Fame centerman Bryan Trottier’s game-used skate is display-mounted on a wood base with a plaque indicating his career goals and assists totals. A key component of the New York Islanders’ four straight Stanley Cup teams of the early 1980s, Trottier added a pair of Cups with Mario Lemieux’s Penguins of the early 1990s to wrap up his playing days with an impressive six Cup titles to his credit. Offered here is one of Trottier’s Bauer game-worn skates, the right boot of a Supreme Custom 1000. This Trottier skate got its share of game use with the outer layer worn through at the inside edge of the toe and plenty of scuffs on the boot and black marks on the blade holder.
