Lorne "Gump" Worsley handled this beautiful piece of wood circa the late 1960s, a time when he backstopped the Habs to two consecutive Cup wins in 1968 and 1969. The Gumper wore #1 for the Habs, starting in 1967-68, until 1969-70 when he was traded early in the season to Minnesota. This Victoriaville Pro has the stamped "1" and "L Worsley" on shaft and dedicated ballpoint signature below it. Original tape black job on knob, paddle and blade with missing accent stripes on paddle noted. The stick is in outstanding condition with light game wear but to damage or cracking.
