Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2012
This wonderful white knit Team USA uniform was worn by Craig Janney during the 1991 Canada Cup Tournament and is tagged in the neck by Maska with a size 54 fly tag nearby. A few dozen light stick marks can be found on the arms and body and the name bar has slightly discolored over the years. This one is conclusively photo-matched to a a sewing glitch on the arm numbers and to a series of black marks on the lower sleeve. A digital image of the photo used to make the match will accompany the lot. The whites are seldom seen and word on the street is the players kept their white uniforms making this a rare find. Originally gifted to Ray Bourque by Janney, and recently obtained from Bourque family, with a letter of authenticity.
