Hall of Fame left winger Michel Goulet was at the height of his powers when he wore this white Quebec Nordiques gamer. Goulet scored 57 goals in 1982-83 and finished among the NHL's top 10 scorers along with teammate Peter Stastny. He followed that up with 56 goals and 65 assists the following season to beat out Stastny for the team lead by two points. His 121-point campaign ranked third in the league behind only Wayne Gretzky and Paul Coffey. This Nordiques jersey dates from 1983, when Goulet gave it away after shooting a commercial with Coffey for Post breakfast cereals. Absolutely outstanding game use here includes dried blood stains all over the front of the jersey, particularly on the left breast and the hem. Classic Nordiques crest sewn onto the front features light blue embroidery and red and white twill. Maska tagging remains in the neck and the jersey's double cloth fight strap is intact. Goulet's surname is spelled out in blue vinyl letters on a white nameplate. The blue vinyl Fleur de Lys and name and #16 on the back and both sleeves exhibit significant cracking and color loss, as is common with this style of Nordiques jersey. Great game use evident throughout, particularly around the battered cuffs which feature nicks, slashes, stick marks and paint transfer galore. Loads of stick work on the lower front! A great addition to your Hall of Fame jersey collection.
