Splendid blue mesh Springfield Indians jersey by Champion has a company tag in the neck indicating size 48 and is a short-lived style, worn by the team from mid-January through to the end of the Calder Cup Finals in 1975. Everything is heat-pressed here, including the Indian head logo, the waist and sleeve striping and the number "21" on the back and sleeves. With elastic knit cuffs and without a fight strap, the jersey shows nice game use with board paint swipes, stick marks and scuffs and a few small holes that have been left unrepaired. We also note evidence of the removal of an "A" up on the left breast. Obtained originally from the Eddie Shore collection!
