Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2012
Mesh memories in this historic uniform from the Phoenix Roadrunners inaugural foray into the World Hockey Association in 1974-75. Wonderful white, blue and yellow mesh jersey is by Champion with the company tag in the neck in size 46. An embroidered Roadrunners crest is sewn on the front while the number "6" on the back and sleeves and the team logos on the shoulders are screened-on. The alternate's "A" sits on the chest and a garter-style fight strap has been sewn in the tail. The number is attributed to Gerry Ordrowski who played 77 games for Phoenix that season. Name on the back has been removed. Moderate wear includes some red paint transfer and a nice team repair on the lower side. Great jersey of a WHA team that was only around for three seasons.
