Classic 1975-76 Bruins jersey reused in the 1976-77 season, really got around! The durene knit by Wilson is tagged in the neck in size 46. Players who wore the number #28 in 1975-76 are Barry Smith and Mike Milbury (played 3 games with the Bruins) and in 1976-77 only Matti Hagman wore it (75 games). Embroidered bears sit up on each shoulder as the team removed the circular bicentennial patches early in 1976-77. This white set was worn during the 1975-76 regular season, for three games of the post-season that year and then reused for the pre-season of 1976-77 with the bicentennial patches intact and for two more games of the regular season with the bears head crests. With the shirt turned inside out, you can make out the ghostly outline of the former patch. Feint red board paint can be spotted on the arms and a handful of stick marks remain. We note two team repairs up on the back shoulders. A perfect durene from the exciting era that was the Seventies!
