A team man who stood up for his mates and who racked up lofty penalty minute totals in the minors and WHA before and after his NHL stint, John Arbour appeared in 53 games for the St. Louis Blues during the 1970-71 season. Arbour's sensational white durene round neck style jersey is tagged in the hem by Rawlings in size 46 with the attached washing instructions and Giesler-Jorgen tags. Small loop fight strap is in the tail while the sewn-on numbers and popular blue note crest are in tackle twill. Light game use with notably nice interior pilling along the waist striping and a few stitch jobs to the team crest. A peek inside shows a hem job to shorted the shirt as it was recycled a few years later by a high school team. Originally obtained along with 34 other home and road jerseys from the same season that were in a former trainer's collection, this one is a beauty and will come with a LOA from Classic Auctions.
