Historical Hockey Memorabilia Winter 2012
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2012
A parade of 24 signatures, each in Cyrillic, marches down the length of this vintage wooden hockey stick recalling the Russian powerhouse squads of the 1970s. The key signer here is superstar Valeri Kharlamov and his mark represents the lion's share of the stick's value as Kharlamov is one of the most sought-after international hockey autographs owing to his untimely death in the early Eighties. Others who have signed include Viacheslav Anisin, Alexander Yakushev, Alexander Gusev, Vladimir Lutchenko, Alexander Bodunov, Valeri Vasiliev, Yuri Blinov, Vladimir Petrov and Alexander Volchkov for a total of 24 signatures on an unused Soviet-made stick.
