Team Canada goalie Jim Rutherford's distinctive 1979 world championship game-worn jersey by Sandow SK features screened-on team logos, numbers and "Canada" down the sleeves. "Rutherford" is screened onto a mesh nameplate and the Sandow flag tag remains in the neck. It measures out to a size 50 and has been preserved in outstanding condition. The rubber screening shows no signs of cracking/peeling as is often the case with these gamers. Obvious game use includes puck marks on the left sleeve and right side of the maple leaf crest. A 2" x 3" piece has been cut out of the lower front hem where a manufacturer's logo was nixed by the IIHF. A cool international gamer!
